In 2025, World GuanDan Federation (WGF) was registered and established in Austria. The establishment of World GuanDan Federation marks a new journey towards standardization, competitiveness, and internationalization for this card game rich in Eastern wisdom.

Regarding the World Guandan Federation
The card game originated in China in the 1960s, and after fifty years of development, it has evolved from a regional game to an intellectual sports project with millions of enthusiasts worldwide.
As the first ever international organization to govern Guandan as an emerging intellectual sport, World Guandan Federation (WGF) will promote its international competitive sports transformation, establish a sound competition system, expand global presence, and promote Guandan to become a truly global intellectual sport in the next decade, injecting new vitality into the development of global intellectual sports.

The highest authority of WGF is the General Assembly of Members, which has an Executive Committee responsible for daily decision-making. Under the leadership of the Executive Committee, there are multiple special committees to ensure professional decision-making and execution. The daily administrative body is the Secretariat.
